Shipping Policy

Shipping & Delivery

Nova Cape Town is committed to delivering your order as quickly and safely as possible. To offer you the best value, we ship our products directly from our supplier. This lets us save on transportation, storage, and packaging costs and pass those savings on to you through fair pricing.

Processing Time

Every order is processed within 1 to 3 business days. Orders placed during the week are usually processed within one business day. Orders placed on Friday evening or over the weekend will be processed on Monday.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order leaves our fulfillment center.

Pre-Order Items

Items labeled Pre-Order require a longer processing time. Please allow 8 to 10 days before your item is shipped. This ensures we can secure the item from our supplier and prepare it for delivery. Once shipped, your order follows the same standard delivery timelines stated below. If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, we'll ship them together once the pre-order item is ready.

Delivery Time

Once your order has been processed, it will be shipped. The average delivery time is 10 to 15 business days. If a product is low on stock, it may be delayed by an extra 2 to 3 business days. In some cases, delivery may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather or carrier delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Free Shipping

All orders are delivered free of charge to your home. No minimum order value is required.

Track Your Order

Want to check the status of your order? You can track it via our Track & Trace page. Tracking information is typically available 2 to 3 days after your order is placed.

How to Place an Order

The ordering process is simple:

  1. Go to the product page and add the desired product to your cart.
  2. Check the correct variants and click "Proceed to checkout".
  3. Enter your address details correctly and click "Continue to shipping".
  4. Review your address details again and click "Continue to payment".
  5. Choose a secure payment method:
    • Credit card (AMEX, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa)
    • Sofort
  6. Click "Complete Order" and follow the instructions to finalize your payment.

Change of Address

We understand that sometimes you notice a detail that needs updating after placing your order. That's why we allow address changes within 1 hour of placing your order. Our team processes orders quickly, so acting fast ensures we can make the update before your parcel begins its journey.

If your order has already been fulfilled and is on its way, we won't be able to update the address. In that case, the courier will attempt delivery or hold the package at their pickup location. If the package is not collected within 7 days (or the courier's standard holding period), it may be returned to sender or disposed of by the courier.

For orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, we are unable to issue a full refund for items lost as a result. If you'd like us to send the order again once it is returned to us, we can do so with a reshipment fee of 15% of your order's total. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are not affected by this.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes

For international orders, Nova Cape Town is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by your country's customs authorities on arrival. These charges are not included in your order total and are paid separately by the recipient. The amount and process vary by country and are determined by your local authorities.

If your country imposes import fees, the courier or customs office will typically contact you once your parcel arrives, and you'll be asked to settle the charges before delivery. We recommend reviewing your country's import rules before ordering to avoid surprises.

If you refuse to pay import duties or fail to retrieve the parcel and it is returned or disposed of, any reshipment would be subject to the reshipment terms above. This does not limit any rights you have for faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We're happy to accept cancellations within 12 hours of ordering, as most orders are processed and on their way shortly after. If a cancellation relates to a post-purchase upsell, that request must be made within 15 minutes of purchase. Once processing is underway, we may not be able to cancel an order.
